Make a slow computer feel new again

If your computer takes forever to start or freezes when you open a few tabs, the problem is often not the whole computer. During diagnosis we check what is holding it back and quote the upgrade that makes the biggest difference, so you can decide before you spend anything.

Upgrades we do

  • Memory (RAM) upgrades so you can run more programs at once.
  • Hard drive or SSD replacement, with a fresh operating system install.
  • Operating system install, with or without a backup of your files.
  • Software installation for the programs you use.
  • Cleaning and new thermal paste (CPU regreasing) for computers that run hot.

Some Macs and thin laptops have memory built in that cannot be upgraded. We check your model first and tell you what is possible.

Fasthuma Computer Repair was a pleasure to work with and his professionalism is top-notch. He successfully reinstalled Windows and installed a new SSD in my iBUYPOWER gaming laptop. The place is great. I had a 2007 Lenovo T61 Thinkpad with a motherboard issue. Mustafah quoted me $175 for the repair and I also asked for some cleanup and upgrades, including a new hard drive casing and additional RAM. Despite my RAM being DDR3 and the machine requiring DDR2, Mustafah did not charge for that. After a fan issue arose, Mustafah replaced it for only $40, including parts and service. I’m very happy with the experience and would happily recommend Mustafah to anyone.

Fasthuma Computer Repairs is excellent in computer repair. I recently purchased a Gateway computer that started having memory issues three months later and the retail store wouldn’t take it back. I found Fasthuma on Yelp and they specialize in these issues. The owner listened to my urgency and stopped what he was doing to focus on my problem. He fixed everything on my computer and made it run like new. The customer service was great and the expertise is unmatched. I highly recommend this place. Additionally, I had trouble with Windows 8 and the owner changed my interface to look like Windows 7, making it easier to use. For top-notch customer service and professionalism, look no further than Fasthuma Computer Repairs.
